I'm not very tech-savvy. Will I be able to use this?
Absolutely. Our systems are built around one simple dashboard, and we walk you through everything during installation. The whole point is to make your home easier to use, not harder. If you can use a smartphone, you can use an Astrum system.
Will you work with the smart devices I already own?
Often yes. We build on open platforms that support most major device brands. During the consultation walkthrough, we'll assess what you have and tell you honestly what can integrate, what should be replaced, and what can stay as-is.
Do I have to keep paying monthly to use my system?
No. Your system works on its own once installed — your data, your hardware, your control. Our optional managed service plans add proactive monitoring and priority support, but they're a choice, not a requirement.
Can I expand the system after installation?
Yes — that's by design. Every system we install uses open, modular hardware so new devices and capabilities can be added later without starting over. Many clients start with Horizon and expand to Nova over time.
How long does installation take?
Horizon installs typically take 1–2 days. Nova is 2–3 days. Constellation is 3–4+ days for larger homes. We'll give you an exact timeline in your proposal after the on-site walkthrough.
What areas do you serve?
We currently serve Greater Orlando (including Winter Park, Lake Nona, Kissimmee, Winter Garden, Oviedo) and Greater Fort Lauderdale / Miami (Broward and Miami-Dade counties). Not sure if you're in our area? Just ask.
